History & Development:
Designed and developed by Max Atchisson, the AA-12 have influenced amongst other the USAS-12. In 1987 Atchisson sold the right of the AA-12 to Jerry Baber who begun to construct a small pre-production sample line. These test copies proved that the gun needed som wast improvements and over 188 modifications were made. The name was after these alterations changed to the Auto Assault 12 (instead of Atchisson Assault).
